Football Fail

Normally the Wolves losing is such an obvious Fail that we wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole. However, this user submitted pic and bad ass crowd member say it too well to pass up as Valdosta breaks the Wolves whopping one game winning streak (which was their first win after an epic twenty-one game fail massacre).
I know tradition is important at UWG, so thanks Wolves for not letting us down.

  7. Dude!!! This is hillarious! I have no idea why anyone can or is pissed at this guy for simply stating the obvious...We just got done losing 21 games in a row!!!! For real...and y'all are going to get pissed!? Our football team is a FAIL! Don't get pissed at us...I went to every game this year, last year, and the two years before...I cheered the footbal team on even when they sucked, which just so happened to be every game...even the ones they won! So get off this guy's case...he's jsut a pissed fan tired of seeing his wolves lose!

  8. This is awesome!! I'm happy I found this site. And the football sucks so bad...it's the epitome of fail. Winning 3 games in 4 years...YAY!!! Lol!! I love how at the game against West Alabama after UWG actually won, some of the players were holding up 1's as to say "We're number one" when in fact it just meant "That's our 1 win of the season!" lol. I'm happy I'm leaving this fail school soon.

  9. The whole stadium was a -HUGE- fail. The football team should have been scrapped as opposed to paying for a new stadium, over $100k for a new coach (as opposed to a few more professors so enough classes can actually be offered), and then there's all the "incidentals" (maintenance on the stadium, extra police protection, etc.).

The guy in the picture has the right of it. Being an alumnus, I've never understood why current students have quietly accepted the ridiculous student fee attached to this idiocy.

  10. One of my friends said they saw this guy get beatup by football players after the game. Anyone know if this is true?

  11. I went to UWG, got my business degree, and dipped... I can honestly admit that I never attended a single campus event while there, and I am actually proud of that... lol. No wasted effort on a shitty team... Go Dawgs?

  12. I'd have to say it's unlikely that he was roughed up after the game. Given he's carrying a sign such as that, I doubt seriously that he'd have failed to press charges for assault and battery against them if they had.

  13. AS the guy who is in the picture holding the sign I was not beaten up by football players after the game. Nothing happened to me. FYI

    Thanks for the concern.

  14. I agree with the poster who questions our stadium and football team. We aren't Div I, it's not like anyone gives a darn about how good our football team is or not. All we have to make ourselves look good is academics. Lets scrap football and give some money to making our school better for what it is, a school, not a city with sports teams to uphold.

  15. As a former UWG player form the years 2004-2005 I transfered into uwg from a program up north. You need a stadium to recruit better players to come and buy into your failing program. The support was shameful on both sides. It was amatur at best, you can't call yourself a College Football program and play at a High school. Recruits laugh at that, I laughed at that but it was a chance to go and get my education for free amd play a sport I love. Put it this way the better your team gets the more money the school will get and more academic programs will sprout up and become available.
